SOLA was established by a group of online friends to provide an environment where gamers from all walks of life can enjoy online multiplayer games and to develop a community of acceptance and encouragement. SOLA was founded with Judeo-Christian teachings and a Biblical worldview in mind. As such, we strive to show respect to everyone, including our enemies. Our goal is to be known as friendly and helpful members of any gaming community. We will do this by holding ourselves to a high standard of respect and maintaining the honor of SOLA. We seek to provide a family friendly environment for all gamers and a place to enjoy games in a community of encouraging individuals.
1.1 What is SOLA?
(To be added at a later date.)
The purpose of this charter is to provide a framework for the perpetual management of SOLA, whose goal is to provide an enjoyable gaming atmosphere for all our members in multiple online games.
While SOLA was founded by Christians, it is not required for membership. With that, we are not a Christian only community. Following our motto, Acceptance & Encouragement, anyone from any walk of life can join. Regardless of our different backgrounds, we are to respect each other as fellow gamers and part of this community. In maintaining this online gaming guild in multiple massively multi-player online role-playing games, the basic guiding principles found in the Bible remain part of our core values. SOLA is referred to as a Christian-led organization. This means the High Council members will be Christians, however, officers outside of this position do not need to be.
This charter has authority over all persons who accept membership in SOLA.
